Readily available and friendly service

We had Ty from Modern Purair clean our furnace and vents last week and he did a great job. He arrived on time, was respectful and very polite.

Very professional and satisfying experience. Our technician Katie was knowledgeable, professional and kind. Katie explained everything that was going to happen and what she needed to do. She was very respectful while moving about our home. I was super curious about seeing how it all works and Katie had no problem sharing the experience. Seeing the dryer vent get cleaned was super satisfying. It was clearly time for a cleaning!All of the communication form Purair was professional and kind. I would gladly recommend their service.

With a new little baby and moving into a new house, I wanted to have the ducts cleaned to make sure we weren't breathing in the last owners leftovers. Tanner was super friendly and did an amazing job and the best part was he showed me pictures of the ducts before and after AND a picture of all the gunk that came out of the ducts after. Pretty gross and yet so satisfying!

A booked service call (patiently postponed by the Purair folks by my request a couple of times) finally took place this morning 13th March 2021.Very efficient and cordial service provided by the Purair (Victoria, BC) representative "AJ", who courteously called ahead an hour ahead to confirm his arrival.This was a second service call with Purair after an initial move-in call some years back which removed a large amount of construction dust from our forced air system.This time, not so much dirt and fuzzies removed (by virtue that many of our vents are in the ceiling), but clear evidence of the dust harvest in the machine. Nonetheless, I do feel that I can breathe easier now that Purair has purged the system.Definitively recommend them for this affordable service (cost felt in proportion to the size of our home).Definitely recomment

We were having problems with our basement suite dryer. Called Modern Purair and they got us an appointment right away. Jake showed up on time, was very professional and explained the whole process to us. He took his time cleaning out both dryer vents (upstairs and downstairs), and even needed a bigger ladder to get on top of our 2 level roof, which he did so with ease. This is our second time using Modern Purair and we will continue to use them. Discounts for repeat customers 🙂

Had our ducts and vents cleaned today and the service level provided by Alton was excellent. He gave us 20 minutes advance notice of his arrival, worked quickly and efficiently with little interruption, suggested complimentary services and was gracious when we said yes and when we said no, left all rooms exactly as he found them, and was pleasant and polite throughout. A great experience overall and I will use modern PURAIR again.

Andrew and Mike cleaned all ductwork and dryer vent. They were very professional. They explained entire process and showed pictures and videos taken before and after. We were extremely pleased with process since we had kitchen renovation done. There was a buildup of drywall dust that has been removed. This process is highly recommended.

"LOOK NO FURTHER" this company was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I used Modern Purair today for both a furnace and duct cleaning and an Air Quality Test.Jeff did the duct cleaning and was professional, knowledgeable and very pleasant to deal with.Later in the day Aaron provided an air quality test... Lets just say other comapanies had quoted me $1000 and they weren't going to be as quick or as thorough as Aaron from Purair for around $400. The guys came out and cleaned out “I’m sure of it” the most neglected dryer vent system they’ve seen in a while! Guys did a great job and cleaning up too. I’ll be having them back to do the he furnace ducts in the fall.

After drywalling our basement Modern Purair Grey Bruce came in and cleaned all our ducts, furnace and exhaust fans. The whole crew was very courteous and they went above and beyond what was expected. Highly recommend and will use them again in the future.

Just a shout out to Modern Pureair of Kamloops. Nathan came and cleaned out our ducts and furnace today. A thoroughly, likeable and competent representative of the company. Did our 23 vents in 2.5 hours., explained what he would do, did it, and cleaned up after he was done. I would highly recommend Nathan and the company.

The service rep was exceptional and we look forward to an improved, cleaner environment in our house. We do need some time to assess the impact of the cleaning process but we’re pleased with the response and the tech who did the cleaning.

Craig was very communicative in his service. When he came the first time, he saw we were doing renovations and explained to me that it would be best to wait until after to do the cleaning. But, he put a new filter in my furnace before he left, as it was VERY DIRTY. He didn’t charge me for it, until he came back a month later to do the actual cleaning.

Ryan from Modern Pure Air was great. Very dedicated to what he does and did a fantastic job. The entire job took about 3 hours but 1 hour of the time was equipping and then removal of equipment. I was expecting only 1 hour for the job since we had the same company in 2 years ago and it took only an hour. Ryan was shocked when he heard this but then said he understood because the individual from 2 years previously was let go by the company.How do we know the job was done to our satisfaction? 2 things. Our daughter and grandkids live with us and the 2 comments were1. This is the 1st time in a long while I feel heat coming from the roof vent.2. Our daughter walked into her teenage daughter's room and said it smelled clean and the granddaughter said she did not like the smell.Ryan was thorough and indicated the furnace filter was in need of replacement. I indicated to him it would be changed within the week as the plumber was coming to do an annual maintenance on the furnace. He was hesitant in wanting to put the dirty filter back but then did it.We also had him do our dryer vent. The outside opening is 20 feet from the dryer but when he cleaned the suction was strong enough that it even sucked the lint from filter in the dryer. I call that a thorough cleaning.Anyway, I do not hesitate in recommending Ryan and I have his name for future use. He strongly represents Modern Purair and if the other employees are of Ryan's caliber then you can't go wrong in using their services.Roy

The employees showed up on time, were very respectful and followed all Covid Protocols. They did a fantastic job and our house feels so much cleaner. My son who has problems with dry and irritated eyes has not been experiencing them since Modern Purair was here. They left our home very clean and made sure we understood what they were doing and explained it all to us prior to doing the work. I would highly recommend this company. I have had another company (that cleans carpets) do the vents in the past and there is no comparison to the job that was done this time. Katie was sent out to my older rental home to clean the air ducts. She arrived on time and totally prepared to do her job.Katie was very professional and knowledgeable about her job. My allergies and asthma have been bad for months with the forced air heating system in our newly purchased home. They do seem better after only 1 day since Katie with Purair cleaned everything for us. Would recommend people try this method, it seems much more thorough than vacuuming the vents.
